The tiles were installed at an urban redevelopment in Ayrshire

Commissioned by North Ayrshire Council as Lead Developer, Cunninghame Housing Association has been responsible for delivering a £37 million led regeneration in Vineburgh in Irvine.

The project, which is now entering its fourth phase, is being carried out over a five year period in an area which has high levels of deprivation and a low demand for housing.

Research has highlighted the level of impact that housing led physical regeneration can have on the health, confidence and general wellbeing of tenants.

The homes constructed are made up of a range of different housing types and are being built by Ashleigh (Scotland) Ltd.

Grampian tiles offer an interlocking tile with a slate appearance

Russell Roof Tiles worked alongside Cunninghame HA after MAST Architects selected the company’s Grampian tiles as a suitable choice for the properties.

Grampian tiles are a standard flat interlocking roof tile combining the traditional and stylish appearance of slate with the security of an interlocking design and economical benefits of concrete.

Installed by roofing contractors DM Roofing, the Grampian tiles offer a long-life, durable and authentic slate or clay effect product that requires minimal maintenance once fitted.
