Grant MonoWave 200 litre heat pump

Grant extends energy efficient heat pump cylinder range with MonoWave

  • 7 Jun 2016

Grant has added to its heat pump cylinder range: its new ErP A-rated MonoWave 200 litre model has been designed with higher levels of insulation to maintain temperature for longer.

Grant’s Wave product range now encompasses thirteen cylinders; each has been designed and manufactured to match to the inverter driven heat pumps, and complement the company’s existing Aerona3.

The duplex stainless steel cylinders incorporate primary coils, which have been developed to allow for the effective transfer of heat. Indirect single coil and twin coil versions of each heat pump are available; engineers can combine the systems with an additional heat source if necessary.

Developed to deliver energy efficiency to homeowners, Grant’s MonoWave heat pump cylinder is a single coil indirect model, which can be used in conjunction with the Aerona3.

When installed alongside the Aerona3, the new heat pump cylinder can achieve an energy efficiency rating of A++ for heating, and A for hot water. An ErP package rating of A++ can be attained when the system is installed as part of a package: with an Aerona3 heat pump and a Gran Solar Thermal kit, for instance.
