Häfele UK has expanded its range of media and electrical solutions with two new partnerships, making it easier than ever for customers to offer whole-home connectivity in their projects.
Now the exclusive distributor of BACHMANN products to the KBB market in the UK, Häfele has added 27 new SKUs to its range, including decorative, integrated charger PIX; push-to-raise countertop charger ELEVATOR; and flip-lid covered power strip KAPSA, amongst others.
German manufactured, BACHMANN is known in the electrical engineering industry as the premium provider of designer sockets, intelligent power distribution units and digital solutions for spaces across the home – including kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and offices – as well as hotels and commercial offices. Its products have a strong focus on aesthetic as well as function, with ranges designed to intuitively distribute power, data and media with a sleek-looking finish.
Häfele is now also offering Rithum, a smart home wall switch which integrates with Zuma, an intelligently paired LED light and a HiFi speaker system, which Häfele began distributing to the UK market earlier this year.
The wall switch enables Zuma owners to easily control key functions from their wall rather than an app via their phone, including warm to cool colour temperature control, dimming and wellbeing features at the touch of a button.
Once set up is complete, users can also activate light scenes and circadian lighting, and utilise audio play actions like play, stop, mute, unmute, and volume control. Rithum also allows for unique standby screen gestures for instant ‘no-look’ control; from the standby screen, users can hold to toggle lights, and double tap to play/pause audio. The switch can be retrofitted for those who already own Zuma, or be sold together as a pair.
Both the Rithum wall switch and new products from BACHMANN are now available from Häfele and will be included in its new Lighting and Electrical Directory.
Jake Loughlin, Category Manager – Lighting & Electrical for Häfele, says: “In terms of connectivity in the home, Häfele is probably best known for its lighting provision – but lighting is just one mechanism out of many that powers our every day lives. We’re keen to elevate our media and electrical ranges to provide our customers with whole-house connectivity solutions, and these two new partnerships are testament to that mission.
“With BACHMANN, we have a hand-selected range of award-winning products which provide intuitive power, data and media sharing, in styles which complement a variety of different aesthetics. Meanwhile, Rithum enables homeowners to control and adapt lighting and sound simultaneously, ensuring that they can create an atmosphere which suits their mood, quicker and easier than ever before.
“This is a big step forward in our aim to become our customers’ sole supplier for all things electrical and media, and we’re looking forward to playing an even bigger role in their future projects as a result.”
