  • 9 Dec 2015

The Metal Gutter Manufacturers Association (MGMA) has announced that one of its members has been recognised at this year’s Cast Metals Federation Awards.

Hall & Botterill received a Highly Commended Award in the Innovation of the Year category for its development and installation of an industrial robot to fettle gravity die aluminium castings. The company was also shortlisted in the final five for the Company of the Year award.

Now celebrating its 13th year, the Cast Metals Federation Awards showcase the “Best of British” casting, highlighting the achievements of UK foundries and suppliers. The event was held at the Manor Hotel in Meriden and was attended by a number of the Federation’s members, which now extends to over 150 companies.

The MGMA currently has 15 members, with membership open to all companies involved in the manufacture and marketing of metal gutters, downpipes and their associated fittings in the UK.
