  • 14 Nov 2016

Heat Mat has supplied its 160W underfloor heating mats for installation at Linden House, a luxury apartment block in Horsham, West Sussex.

After receiving permission to convert the old building into an apartment block, the project’s developer, F3Group, sought high quality materials, systems and products for use throughout.

Whilst the original Portland Stone façade of the building has been retained, the interior has been transformed into 51 open-plan homes, fixed around a central atrium.

The company’s160W heating mats were specified for installation, based on their proven compatibility with a wide range of floor coverings.

Each apartment benefits from hardwood floors in the living area, porcelain tiles in the bathrooms and carpet in the bedrooms. The floorings have been installed above the heating mats.

The mats were fitted onto 10mm thermal installation boards; Heat Mat’s NGTouch thermostat enables each homeowner to control their system.
