Real estate investor Pitalia has relocated its headquarters from Bolton to Oxford Court in Manchester’s city centre, selecting HIMACS to be at the forefront of the new business HQ with a sculptural reception desk designed in HIMACS Steel Concrete G555.
The company’s 3,200 square foot office is set over three floors, a prime location in which to grow and develop its portfolio in the heart of Manchester.
The reception desk and rear credenza top were designed by Gresham Office Furniture and fabricated by its bespoke joinery team at Gresham Bespoke.
Chris Waddington, Bespoke Operations Manager, comments: “Gresham Bespoke were approached by Pitalia to design and manufacture the bespoke joinery elements in their Manchester office.
“Working closely with the client, we designed a variety of items, from boardroom tables and storage solutions to a reception desk with matching rear storage in HIMACS. We specified HIMACS due to its on-trend colours and robust characteristics, perfect for a high-use reception. The bespoke items were complemented by our vast range of seating, designed for each area.”
The new office headquarters were given a complete overhaul by Gresham Bespoke and Gresham Office Furniture, who designed and manufactured the interior layout and furniture. The brief from the client, Pitalia, was that the reception desk needed to have instant wow factor as well as durability.
Gresham selected HIMACS for its robustness as well as its on-trend colours, choosing Steel Concrete G555 for the reception and the top of the credenza unit behind it. Part of the Concrete Collection from HIMACS, Steel Concrete is available in 6mm, 9mm and 12mm thicknesses and offers a sleek, contemporary look and feel, perfect for a stylish reception area.
Due to its flexibility and special characteristics, HIMACS is the ideal application for business premises, offices and headquarters. HIMACS is robust and fire resistant, incredibly hygienic and resistant to wear and tear, scratches, stains and UV rays. Moreover, its non-porous surface makes it extremely quick and easy to clean.
The thermoformable properties of HIMACS also allow it to be moulded into any shape and size, making it the perfect material for creating reception areas and surfaces. The absence of visible seams also ensures a smooth, seamless look that prevents dirt, bacteria and viruses building up on the surface. This makes HIMACS a Solid Surface material with unbeatable hygienic and safety properties, guaranteed by certifications that comply with LGA, Greenguard and NSF international standards.
By incorporating the benefits and unique characteristics of HIMACS, Pitalia’s new Manchester office has a sculptural and robust reception desk that provides an instant impact and a memorable welcome.
