  • 14 Feb 2025

HJK Construction, based in the North West, has been presented with the Development of the Year 2024 award by The Developers Club, showcasing its outstanding work in design and development and the acknowledgement of HJK Construction’s leadership in the field.

HJK Construction was applauded for its contribution to Holywell Manor, which is in Flintshire, North Wales, a community which balances the historic ambience with the modernity of living. The project breathes new life into the former Victorian workhouse, which dates back to the 1800s and later served as part of Lluesty General Hospital in the 1900s. Holywell Manor is a showpiece of HJK Construction’s commitment to design innovation, creativity and quality in the rural countryside.

Holywell Manor’s design comprises 12 flats with a variety of 3 and 4-bedroom mews and semi-detached family properties, offering a range of living options to cater to modern-day living. Residents benefit from living close to the market town of Holywell and excellent road and transport links, such as the A55 North Wales Expressway.

The Developers Club praised HJK Construction for creating a “new benchmark of performance” in the construction industry with the development of Holywell Manor saying that the project “enchants us all” and appreciated the contribution of HJK Construction to the industry.

On the back of this well-deserved win, HJK Construction remains on track to fulfil its current mission of bringing defining developments that honour the past and respond to present-day needs. The success at Holywell Manor is the symbol of its commitment to deliver top-quality homes and foster communities.
