Hybrid window, casement and curtain walling systems for award winning home

  • 12 Sep 2014

The property, named ‘High Edge’ due to its location on a steep hillside and Swiss chalet design, features timber cladding, traditional stonework and a sloping roof alongside a range of fenestration systems to offer quality aesthetics.

Senior’s Hybrid lift and slide patio door systems were installed to provide a stylish finish to the balcony area, whilst the Hybrid series 1 door and curtain walling systems with a glass-to-glass corner were fitted to enhance the views across the valley.

The Hybrid series 2 window system fabricated by Hepworth Framework, provide uniformed sight lines for fixed and opening elements, meanwhile, the series 1 casement windows work to facilitate ventilation inside the building.

Manufactured in Huddersfield using responsibly sourced timber, the eco friendly Hybrid systems provide a long-life and low maintenance external profile with high levels of aesthetics, insulation, and environmental benefits.

The property recently won an award at the East Midlands 2014 RIBA Awards, where the designer, Robert Evans, also won the prestigious title of Architect of the Year.
