IFT rebrands as it expands its integrated flooring services across the UK

Industrial Floor Treatments has expanded its services and rebranded its business as IFT – Integrated Flooring Technologies.

Established in 1985, the company operates from East Kilbride and Bishop Auckland with a total of 45 staff.

In the past two years, IFT has increased its turnover by 20 percent and expanded its services to include floor screeds and levelling, resin flooring, food safe flooring, car park decking systems, raised access flooring, underfloor heating and hygienic wall cladding.

The company works with a number of industrial and commercial clients throughout Scotland and the North of England such as Balfour Beatty and Laing O’Rourke, and has recently worked on notable projects including the Woods Groups new head offices at City Park Aberdeen and the Kevin Hall refurbishment project in Glasgow.

Managing Director Greg Love commented that the company is looking to develop its local workforce over the next 12 months, including appointing more apprentices, in order to keep up with demand.

He said: “There are a number of high profile projects across Scotland in development and the key focus of main contractors appears to be on quality of supply.

There is a clear need in the market for large office space as outdated office accommodation in the major commercial centres is refurbished or replaced. We are also seeing a spike in enquiries from the end-user market, in particular for those businesses involved in exporting.”
