Waterproofing and roofing specialist IKO enjoyed resounding success at the recent North West Finance Awards, collecting three awards on the night.
Shortlisted for nine awards, IKO picked up the prize in three categories: Credit Team of the Year, the Credit Star Award, and Outstanding Business Performance.
Taking place on 1st October at Bolton’s Macron Stadium, the North West Finance Awards welcomed a record attendance, with entires submitted from all sectors of business across the North West of England.
The Awards’ founder, Steve Crohill, described the ceremony as “proof that confidence continues to grow in the regional economy.”
Drawn from professional finance associations and commercial partners of the Awards, the judging panel praised IKO for its contributions to the local community, high level of employee satisfaction and its year-on-year improvement in turnover, margin and profit.
IKO was recognised as “multiple award winners in its fields across the UK, and a business that is moving ahead, exploiting new opportunities and products.”
Group Managing Director of IKO PLC Andy Williamson commented on the company’s success: “I’m really proud of our finance team and their achievements. They work extremely hard and are well deserved winners of all three awards! It was a fantastic and memorable evening.”
