IKO Polymeric will showcase its Spectraplan TPE membrane at the Build Show in October with live hot-air welding demonstrations on stand B4/1005. The BBA certified single ply membrane can be welded between 200-600˚C, making detailing much easier.
Free from chlorine and plasticisers, Spectraplan can be machine-welded at 6/7 linear metres a minute. If required, repair can be made without leaving a mark and ‘the weld becomes as strong as the membrane’ according to IKO Polymeric Managing Director, Anthony Carlyle.
The membrane is manufactured to ISO 9001 and 14001 for quality and environmental management and BES 6001 for responsible sourcing of products.
