IKO wins International Safety Award for Manufacturing

The British Safety Council has presented IKO PLC with an International Safety Award for Manufacturing, recognising the company’s commitment to protecting its employees from the risk of injury and ill health in the workplace.

IKO is one of 578 organisations to be presented with an International Safety Award across the United Kingdom, Africa, Asia, India and the Middle East.

Congratulating IKO on its success, the British Safety Council’s Chief Executive, Mike Robinson, commented: “Sensible and proportionate management of health and safety risks at work brings lasting benefits for workers, their families, businesses and society as a whole.” 

IKO UK Group Managing Director, Andy Williamson, added: “The health and safety of our employees and visitor to our sites is at the heart of our business. We are delighted this has been recognised by the British Safety Council, which has been a trusted guide to excellent health, safety and environmental management for over half a century.”
