Inno-Fix and Inno-Bond insulation boards achieve BBA Certification

  • 26 Sep 2016

The Inno-Fix and Inno-Bond insulation boards developed by Building Innovation have achieved British Board Agrément certification, covering both flat and tapered board options, following extensive laboratory tests and on-site evaluations.

Composed of a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core, the boards are faced with aluminium foil composite and coated glass tissue respectively. The boards are both lightweight and durable and are available with factory pre-mitred hips and valleys to aid drainage and installation.

Both Inno-Fix and Inno-Bond are suitable for mechanically fixed single-ply waterproofing systems on concrete, timber and metal decks, whilst the latter is also ideal for fully angered single ply waterproofing systems.

The boards can specified for both new-build and refurbishment projects and can be installed either independently or as part of a Building Innovation hybrid insulation roof scheme, or a system such as the ASPIRE Solution (incorporating 2 or more insulation materials for optimum performance).
