  • 9 Nov 2016

Jet Cox has announced the launch of Coxdome Flat Glass, an uninterrupted rooflight solution which offers panoramic views and the introduction of natural daylight.

Jet Cox utilised precision engineered manufacturing techniques to create Coxdome Flat Glass. Offering an uninterrupted glass surface, the rooflight has been designed for the benefit of architects and housebuilders, looking to bring contemporary concepts to life.

The rooflight encourages the entrance of natural light, whilst offering clear, internal panoramic views and seamless lines on the external roofscape.

It is suitable for a range of applications, from challenging residential projects to simple, one-off installations.

The rooflight features an outer glass pane of 6mm, with a ceramic edge coating. A slim aluminium frame profile is isolated internally, resulting in increased thermal performance: according to EN 673-2001, the system is able to achieve a U-value of 1.0W/m2K.

In addition to this, Flat Glass offers sound reduction of 35dB. When installed, the unit is impact resistant classification 1B1, in accordance with BS EN 12600:2002.

Fixing screws are concealed by a flush cover, which ensures a seamless finish.
