Integrated approach to access control at HEandFE 2015

  • 18 Aug 2015

Among its range of products on display will be ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio wireless locking solution, which is designed to upgrade technically locked doors and wirelessly connect them – online or offline – to new or existing access control systems, with minimum modification to doors and premises.

Visitors to the ASSA ABLOY/Gallagher stand will experience the cylinder and escutcheon variants in the Aperio range, alongside the new L100 platform; presenting the world’s first wireless lock range for security doors with monitoring capability.

The Aperio KS100 Server Cabinet Lock will also be showcased, which reveals the simplicity behind monitoring server cabinets and data racks access.

Successful integration

By working with Gallagher to showcase its integration using wireless technologies, the company hopes to demonstrate a simple option for universities to upgrade to access control.

Failing to protect and secure people, physical assets and information in higher education establishments can be costly and lead to legal consequences and reputational issues arising.

ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio works to safeguard students, staff and their belongings, whilst allowing organisations to make savings on energy costs.
