Interflow UK to supply and install DOYMA pipe sealing systems for the new Lillie Square residential development in London
The one million square foot Lillie Square scheme, one of the most high-profile residential developments in London, will transform a 7.4 acre car park on Seagrave Road into a fashionable new garden square with 808 quality homes. The main contractor to build the first phase is Sir Robert McApline (SRM) and the scheme is a joint project between CAPCO and KFI.
As part of the Lillie Square development, Interflow UK is supplying a range of specialist solutions from DOYMA. Interflow is the UK distributor and installer of a specialist range of products for the built environment, designed to enhance, add value and increase sustainability across commercial and public sectors, thereby helping customers save energy and reduce their carbon footprint.
DOYMA pipe sealing systems prevent structural damage. Wherever service ducts are installed through walls, ceilings or floors, penetrating water, other liquids or humidity may cause damage to buildings, DOYMA duct sealing systems ensure professional and perfect sealing, thus presenting excellent preventative measures against structural damage.
Interflow will supply and install the 8000 and 8000/T range of sleeves, including welding steel, retrofit sleeves around service pipes passing through the sheet piling. These sleeves enable sealing on the face of any wall and seal penetrations without a suitable core bore or pipe sleeve. The inside face of the sleeve provides an optimum contact surface for the elastomer of the Curaflex gasket insert.
DOYMA’s 8000 and 8000/T sleeves are gas-tight and leak-proof against pressing water and non-pressing water. They are suitable for buildings without tanking membranes (white tank) or with thick mastic coating with the contact surface “bonding flange” additionally sand coated to optimize keying. They can be used in conjunction with all Curaflex gasket inserts, also available from Interflow.
The very best in German engineering is used to seal penetration points through walls and floors to permanently prevent any infiltration of gases and water into the building, and the DOYMA products are guaranteed for 25 years.
DOYMA’s Curaflex gasket inserts with their unique, asymmetric Double Profile System (DPS) generate a differential contact pressure by means of asymmetric profiled sealing frames which direct greater sealing pressure outwards to the sleeve or
core-drilled concrete and softer pressure inwards to the ducted service without compromising sealing efficiency.
The unique DOYMA grip is a special elastomer with high adhesive contact on the media pipe or cable. Together, they ensure optimum and permanent sealing of the service entry while still tolerating axial, radial, angular (settlement & ground heave movements with no loss of sealing integrity, thus assuring owners and occupiers quiet enjoyment of their home through years of trouble-free occupancy.
The latest Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI) report shows builders’ merchants’ value sales in October were up +1.2% compared to the same month last year.
