Foam window and door sealant tapes specialist ISO-Chemie is displaying its of range of airtightness, thermal and acoustic sealing solutions (Stand OS117) at the UK Construction Week Show.
Featuring in the ‘offsite’ area, ISO-TOP WINFRAMER is a structurally solid, pre-fabricated installation frame manufactured in a range of variations and sizes.
This enables it to be cut quickly to length on site and secured in position using a single component adhesive and, if necessary, fixing screws.
A multi-purpose foam tape, ISO-BLOCO ONE provides effective and rapid sealing of windows from inside the building during construction, avoiding the need to use time consuming and costly external access systems.
This can deliver cost savings of up to 70% when compared to traditional three component systems. Andy Swift, sales and operations manager, UK & ROI at ISO-CHEMIE, says the products offer controlled, non-weather dependent construction and rapid installation benefits.
He adds: “We are also targeting the retrofit sector, which is a big sector offering huge growth potential, showcasing the products’ capabilities to effectively add another outer wall to current inefficient old housing stock.
“This can improve thermal loss and sound reduction and comes amid growing acceptance of sealant products, which is leading to their increasing use across the building and construction spectrum.”
ISO-Chemie is one of Europe’s main producers of impregnated foam sealants, specialising in the manufacturer of foam products from polyethylene (EPE), polypropylene (EPP) and polyurethane (PUR) using the latest production techniques.
The company’s UK technical and distribution operation is based in the North East of England, supported by a dedicated logistics service to ensure customer orders are completed as quickly and efficiently as possible (usually next-day delivery). More at www.iso-chemie.eu.
