Calling all Architects and Specifiers! Newton Technical Director Richard Crossley will be delivering the company’s next RIBA approved CPD webinar of 2021. This will take place on Friday 3rd September at 11 am!
This event will be hosted by SpecifiedBy, an online building products research and comparison tool.
The webinar will be of Newton’s CPD: ‘A Designers Guide to Type C Internal Basement Waterproofing to BS 8102:2009’. It will focus on waterproofing design requirements in accordance with current legislation, British Standards and NHBC standards.
With over 25 years of experience in the waterproofing industry, Richard will provide an overview of Type C waterproofing design requirements and principles.
– An understanding of the evolution of Type C internal cavity drain waterproofing
– An examination of the importance of the requirement for maintainability with BS 8102:2009
– An understanding of the related sustainability issues and the importance of using specialist waterproofing designers and contractors
The presentation will last approximately 45 minutes and will end with a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to discuss the CPD material in greater detail with Richard.
