Over 200 REHAU PVC-U windows have been installed at a high profile commercial office block in Leicester city centre. Birmingham-based Kalsi Plastics supplied and fitted the casement windows in the REHAU TOTAL70c profile.
The windows were installed in the refurbished 12 storey Epic House building in Leicester. The building has been converted into new apartments to rent, on behalf of commercial property management specialists Fara Estates.
The REHAU TOTAL70c profile was specified to meet the thermal performance specification set out by the developers, as well as meeting the building’s 35dB acoustic performance requirement. This was particularly important as the building overlook’s Leicester’s noisy central bus terminus and the ground floor has been developed into a large new Wilko store.
The architects on the project were the Brian Dearlove Partnership.
