Addressing Operational Challenges

Before partnering with EcoOnline, Keltbray Infrastructure Services used another vendor for their chemical safety management and COSHH assessments. However, with the contract ending in autumn 2023, and users finding the system difficult to navigate, it was decided to source a solution more fit for purpose and aligned to business requirements.

Yousef Richards, Head of Quality & Assurance at Keltbray Infrastructure Services, comments: “Our main objectives for implementing EcoOnline’s Sypol solution are to reduce the time spent writing and reviewing COSHH assessments and to increase employee engagement with the COSHH compliance management system.

“The ease of creating assessments in under 10 minutes and the consultancy helpline particularly impressed us.”

Choosing Sypol for Enhanced COSHH Compliance Management

Keltbray Infrastructure Services chose EcoOnline’s Sypol solution, which includes 1500 COSHH assessments, providing unlimited access and a Train the Trainer course. The decision was primarily driven by employee feedback, which highlighted the system’s ease of use, simplicity and the familiarity many employees had with Sypol from previous companies. The availability of a helpline, regular updates and reviews of assessments, access to a database of pre-written assessments, and the support provided through consultancy were also significant factors in their choice.

Nathan Brew, VP, Sales, at EcoOnline, comments: “It’s exciting to see how Keltbray Infrastructure Services will benefit from the adoption of our Sypol COSHH Compliance Management solution.

“The streamlined assessment process and robust support features are designed to enhance safety and operational efficiency, fostering greater employee engagement and compliance.”
