Keston shortlisted in Commercial/ Industrial Heating Product of the Year category 2014 for its Heat-Only boiler range

Keston Heat-Only range

Keston was ahead of its time when it integrated an ErP approved pump within the framework of the Keston Heat-Only boiler.

In January 2013, the ErP Directive demanded that standalone pumps must meet higher efficiency standards.

However, high efficiency requirements relating to boiler pumps that are installed internally are not due for enforcement until 2015 but the new Keston Heat Only boiler range has been compliant since 2013

Flexibility of twin flue design

Keston’s twin flue design allows for boiler siting in the most convenient and practical locations on any project, regardless of whether there is an external wall nearby for flue termination.

Keston incorporated the highest efficiency pumps ahead of legislation. This ensures that those customers with applications for which a twin flue solution is the only option can still enjoy the benefits of the most energy efficient boiler technology available.

  • offers reduced carbon emissions, fuel use and subsequent running costs
  • low NOx emissions at Class 5 achieving maximum points under BREEAM schemes
  • integral pump simplifies installation, thereby reducing costs still further
  • twin flue capabilities allow the flue to be run horizontally from an elevation of 3.5° and extended up to 21 metres from the boiler allowing for easy, hassle-free installation.

Qualifies for Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme

Keston Heat Only range is listed on the Energy Technology List (ETL), even following the 2013 revisions to criteria that have demanded still higher efficiency thresholds.

Inclusion on the ETL independently validates the Keston Heat Only range as one of the highest performing products available on the market.

  • boilers qualify for the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme, providing businesses with enhanced tax relief
