  • 26 Aug 2022

UPVC fascia and cladding manufacturer Kestrel has raced to sign up for the IBC Buying Group inaugural conference and dinner, taking place at the world-famous Silverstone racetrack.

The event, on 29 September, will see IBC independent builder’s merchant members and supplier partners come together to drive their businesses forward at the iconic race circuit in Northamptonshire.

Kestrel sales and marketing director, Owen Thorogood (pictured above), comments: “After years of Teams and Zoom, it’s really valuable to be able to get out to events like this one and meet face-to-face.

“Independent merchants have had a turbulent but busy time throughout the pandemic, so this event is a perfect ‘pit stop’ to take a break from day-to-day business for a day or so and refocus on what lies ahead.”

Members of the IBC taking part in the conference will be able to hear updates on its ‘More Than a Buying Group’ offering and learn how they can maximise their business’ growth potential by working closely with suppliers.

Kestrel sales and marketing director Owen Thorogood and divisional sales director Darren Dow will attend the event, with exclusive conference prices and deals to offer on the day.

Once the conference concludes, merchants will be able to refuel at a luxury gala dinner and awards ceremony celebrating some of the innovation and most successful partnerships seen between IBC members and suppliers over the past year.
