Keyfix Non-Combustible Cavity Tray System wins Housebuilder Product Award

  • 6 Apr 2022

Keyfix is delighted to announce its Non-Combustible Cavity Tray System has been named Best Site Product at the Housebuilder Product Awards 2022.

Celebrating excellence in the provision of products and services to the housebuilding industry, the Housebuilder Product Awards are judged by industry insiders with the Best Site Product being one that helped housebuilders overcome the challenge of new building regulations, improving build quality, delivery cost and time savings, and is sustainable.

John Duffin, Managing Director at Keyfix, comments: “This is fantastic news and a huge achievement for us as a team. We worked incredibly hard to develop a non-combustible system which meets the needs of regulators, insurers, warranty providers, developers and installers and this award is testament to that. Our hard work and innovative product deserve this accolade.”

The Keyfix Non-Combustible Cavity Tray System is the only product of its type to not rely on tapes and mastics to make watertight joints, therefore eliminating one of the main reasons for product failure. Listed on the NHBC ‘Accepts list’, the ADB (Approved Document B) compliant system is approved by both Premier Guarantee and LABC following its comprehensive review of innovative products and systems.

Winners of the award will be invited to attend a private winner’s lunch on June 9th in London and automatically become a finalist in the Product of the Year Category at the Housebuilder Awards 2022 later this year.

Keyfix looks forward to more awards success with its Non-Combustible Cavity Tray System shortlisted for the Manufacturing Innovation Award at the Made in Northern Ireland Awards 2022. The event takes place at the Titanic Hotel in Belfast on May 13th 2022.
