Knauf AQUAPANEL cement boards provide a full exterior and interior ceiling system when combined with high-quality products, supplied by Knauf.
Knauf has a one-stop shop for ceiling design and specification if humidity and chemical protection is required. Made from inorganic materials to prevent mildew from spreading, the new Knauf AQUAPANEL cement boards are water-resistant.
Simple to install, both Knauf AQUAPANEL Exterior and Interior Systems allow for the creation of spectacular ceilings.
The specification of a ceiling in wet indoor and exterior environments is made easy with Knauf’s support from one single point of contact throughout the project from the design stage, with the reviews of the architectural drawings, to regular site visits during installation.
Knauf AQUAPANEL Exterior Ceiling System is unique to the market, high in performance, economical and a sustainable solution for dry lining style construction of exteriors. The solution is ideal for soffits and exterior ceilings, perfect for situations where ceilings are exposed to moisture, wind loading and coastal environments, regardless of their location.
Achieving a C3 for corrosion resistance, Knauf AQUAPANEL SkyLite or AQUAPANEL Exterior (windload>1.5kN/m2) is fixed to the suspended coated metal structure which has a protective coating and is suitable for outdoor areas in both residential and industrial atmospheres, with moderate sulphur dioxide pollution to coastal areas with low salinity. Knauf External Renders can then finish the system.
The knauf AQUAPANEL Interior Ceiling System is ideal for swimming pools, bathrooms and spa rooms. Once again, Knauf AQUAPANEL SkyLite (a lightweight 8mm board) is combined with Knauf C3 Metal components. Knauf AQUAPANEL Interior skim completes the system.
Knauf can now offer complete solutions for walls and ceilings in interior and exterior environments with the introduction of these ceiling systems.
