Knauf Sliding Door Kit – just unpack and go

  • 1 Mar 2017

Designed specifically to fit UK standard stud sizes without the need to pack out the frame, the new Knauf Sliding Door Kit allows for one-man installation of space-saving doors in just 20 minutes.

Product Manager at Knauf, Kelly Withall said that the sliding door kit includes a soft-close mechanism to deliver maximum benefit to installers, end users and merchants.

The kit saves space and provides great design freedom and creates additional floor space for flexible living. Arriving complete in a single box including all components and tools, it is easy for merchants to stock and installers can simply unpack and go.

Compatible with a range of door sizes and integrated with UK standard 70mm and 92mm stud sizes, each kit contains a soft-close mechanism as standard with an optional Synchro kit allowing for the installation of double doors with fully synchronised opening.

The inclusion of support brackets make one-person installation easy, as the installer can support each end of the slide rail while it is being attached to the stud.
