KSN Anchor System designed for meeting terms of Eurocode 2 wins award

  • 27 Nov 2013

The system received recognition after winning the title of ‘Best Product in the Show’ when it was officially launched at the 2013 UK Concrete Show.

The new KSN Anchor System is designed to accommodate the longer rebar lap lengths required by the Eurocode 2, whilst removing the need for on-site bar straightening and allowing for multiple anchors to be installed simultaneously.

The company were put forward for the award based on the £167 million  ‘Alder Hey in the Park’ hospital project in Liverpool, whereby 2,500 linear metres of KSN anchors were used to connect pre-fabricated panels to in-situ cast slabs across four floors.
