Latest contract news from Stannah in Scotland

  • 17 Dec 2018

Stannah Lift Services has recently added 7 more lifts to its maintenance portfolio, with the addition of a new contract with the Strathmore hotel group.

The Strathmore hotel group is a family-run group of seven unique hotels across Scotland and the north of England. The contract will be maintained between Stannah’s service branches based in Scotland, Warrington and Gateshead.

As part of the lift contract, the modernisation team in each of the local branches are assisting two of their hotels; the Cumbria Grand Hotel in the Lake District and the Alexandra Hotel in Fort William with complete lift modernisations. All the lift work will ensure the lifts operate within industry guidelines, reduce energy consumption and meet or exceed safety requirements.

Craig Stevenson, Stannah Scotland, Branch Manager comments: ‘Our lift engineers are highly trained to look after all types of lifts from all manufacturers, not just our own lifts. We are looking forward to improving the style and performance of these hotel passenger lifts. When customers, such as hotel groups, have multiple products on site and multiple requirements we can provide a one-stop shop of lift expertise.’
