REHAU has announced the venue for its next introduction to district heating system design course, which is scheduled to take place on 8th December.
The iconic Royal Armouries in Leeds has been chosen to host REHAU’s upcoming heating systems design course. Designed for the benefit specifiers and consultants, the course covers the fundamentals of district heating, as a rapidly growing sector of the heating market.
Led by REHAU’s experienced team, the course will cover a range of topics: delegates will be educated on the different heat sources used for district heating and the pipe work options available. The course will explain how specifiers can reduce installation costs by getting the essentials – such as sizing and layout – right.
The programme will include practical sessions, where delegates can attempt pipe sizing and heat loss calculations. This will help them to develop an understanding of the efficiency benefits of optimising diversity within a district heating scheme.
REHAU will include case studies from across the UK, featuring its RAUTHERMEX and RAUVITHERM pre-insulated pipework.
The event will run from 9.30am until 12.30pm on 8th December, with lunch included. Delegates will be given the opportunity to ask questions and network with colleagues working within the sector.
