Vision London has secured 100 key figures from the architectural and wider construction community to speak at the free to attend two day exhibition.

Sunand Prasad PPRIBA of Penoyre and Prasad

Former RIBA President, co-founder of Penoyre and Prasad, and a founding Commissioner of CABE, Sunand Prasad holds a number of key positions related to policy development and design quality, including being a member of both the Mayor’s Design Advisory Panel for London and the UK Government’s Green Construction Board.  Named by the ‘Independent’ newspaper as one of the top 100 environmentalists for his work in ‘greening the RIBA’, Sunand will be speaking at Vision London’s ‘Innovative Retrofit’ seminar.

James Pickard of Cartwright Pickard

The lead architect on numerous award winning residential projects including an innovative housing scheme at Murray Grove in London for the Peabody Trust which won nine major awards, and Bourbon Lane in London for Octavia, which won RIBA and Civic Trust housing awards, James Pickard co-founded Cartwright Pickard in 1996.  The only practicing architect to sit on the main board of Construction Excellence in 2005/6 and an advisor to several Governments on innovative responses to affordable housing, James will be participating in Vision London’s ‘Building Performance – Air Quality’ seminar.

Jim Eyre OBE of Wilkinson Eyre

Jim Eyre OBE has been a Partner at Wilkinson Eyre, one of London’s leading architectural practices and the firm responsible for the redesign of Battersea Power Station, since 1987.  An active member of CABE’s Design Review panel and a trustee of the Design Council, Jim has a particular interest in multi-disciplinary projects where architectural creativity and engineering principles can be combined. He will be speaking at Vision London’s ‘Materials of Invention’ seminar.

Vision London at Olympia, London on the 2 and 3 June has been created specifically for architects, specifiers, end users and construction sector suppliers, the annual event aims to bring these communities together to discuss, debate and showcase the latest innovations and developments in architecture, design and the built environment.

Vision London will focus on innovative building products, materials and technology, as well as new and inventive solutions that facilitate better building design. More than 4,000 visitors are expected to attend the event at which more than 100 key industry representatives will speak and more than 100 organisations exhibit.
