At Timber Expo, manufacturers, contractors and specifiers will be given the opportunity to meet and discuss the sector’s most pressing issues.
MetsäWood is an important figure in the industry, supplying timber solutions across the world. It has been announced as the event’s latest confirmed exhibitor.
It aims to deliver sustainable, traceable and fully certified products; working with builders’ merchants, it creates engineered timber systems using Glulam and Kerto, sheet materials, scaffold boards, decking, joinery and external and internal cladding solutions.
MetsäWood recognises the importance of supply chain partnerships in the realisation of timber buildings; it aims to help its customers to create sustainable buildings using timber.
The company is looking forward to meeting with its partners and customers face-to-face at Timber Expo, which will present a number of networking opportunities.
At the event, MetsäWood will be giving a practical Toolbox Talk on Spanning the Distance in Engineered Wood Products.
Frank Werling, the company’s head of Technical, Engineering and Design, will discuss how the introduction of EWP BIM objects can help to facilitate the specification of timber as a feasible alternative to steel.
In addition, the company will contribute to the Timber Focus Seminars, where it will be able to engage in meaningful debates designed to tackle the industry’s most pressing issues.
Timber Expo will also feature the Wood Awards and Wood in Architecture, which will include a panel discussion on how the timber industry is developing globally.
