Lexolux to provide custom screen solution for £3m contract

  • 15 Oct 2015

Alumasc’s solar shading and screening business, Levolux, has won a significant project on the east coast of the USA to design and supply a custom screen solution to a new gas fired power plant.

The project is expected to generate approximately £3 million of revenue for Levolux during Alumasc’s 2016/17 financial year.

The development will see Levolux provide an architectural screen around the plant’s two buildings, with the aim to improve its visual impact on the surrounding area.

The screen design is based upon the patented “Infiniti system” of extruded horizontal aluminium aerofoil louvres fixed to each building through concealed fixings giving the louvres a seamless appearance.

Paul Hooper, Group Chief Executive, commented: “We are delighted that Levolux has secured such a large and prestigious contract. This demonstrates Levolux’s increasing success in developing its presence in the North American market.”
