Life-safety systems manufacturer C-TEC at Firex

Taking place at London’s ExCeL on 17-19 May, Firex International is Europe’s biggest fire safety event and THE place to be if you’re a specifier, architect, fire safety specialist, contractor, property developer or housing professional – C-TEC will be exhibiting.

C-TEC will have a host of innovative solutions designed to enhance fire safety in high-rise buildings on Stand FI2010 including EVAC-ALERT, a new BS 8629 evacuation alert system, Hush, a revolutionary new BS 5839-6 Grade C domestic fire system, CAST, C-TEC’s powerful own-protocol fire system, and Envision, a new Cloud-based fire alarm remote access, service and site management software package.

Andy Scott, C-TEC’s Project Director and Chair of BSI’s FSH/12/5 committee on alarm devices, voice alarm evacuation sub-systems and emergency voice communications, will be delivering a seminar on BS 8629 controlled evacuation in Firex’s Expertise and Guidance Theatre.

An expert in the field of fire safety, Andy will also present a paper on integrated commercial and residential fire alarm technology and participate in the ‘Is Stay Put Still Valid’ debate at the 7th International Tall Building Fire Safety Conference, which runs alongside the show.
