Long Live the King with Pop Up Power Supplies

  • 2 Jun 2023

Staging an outdoor event for the King’s Coronation proved to be beneficial commercially for many local authorities. Attracting more people to make use of public space not only boosts the commercial viability of our town centres, but it also helps to create a sense of community and well-being. Some of the larger events and attractions utilised a power source, and in many cases traditional power sources such as petrol generators were used, which can be unsafe, unsightly and noisy in open areas where people are relaxing, dancing and socialising – an alternative approach is available from Pop Up Power Supplies®.

Pop Up Power have a range of retractable service units that provide electricity for public spaces such as urban centres, historic sites, market places, town squares and parks – all of which were perfect settings for the coronation.

There are three main units in the range – pop up units, power bollards and in-ground – all of which can provide outdoor power in a wide variety of applications. Each unit is available with a range of configurations, and bespoke in-ground power units or pop up units can be specified with recessed tops that can accommodate different forms of surface material such as paving.
