With Digital Construction Week (DCW) rapidly approaching, the event organisers have revealed a must-see programme for the Main Stage of this year’s show. The UK’s leading event for innovation and technology in the built environment takes place on 5 – 6 June at ExCeL London. 

Home to unmissable content delivered by high profile thought leaders working at the forefront of the built environment, the Main Stage at DCW will feature an exclusive programme of noteworthy speakers and panel discussions, covering the most pressing issues in AECO.

Presented by Strategic Account Lead at Microsoft, Quam Adewale, ‘AI in construction: Building tomorrow today’ will delve into the latest advancements in artificial intelligence within the construction industry. He will explore how AI is revolutionising project management, enhancing safety protocols, and optimising resource allocation. 

Understanding how technology can streamline processes and integrate disparate systems is crucial for simplifying operations and improving productivity. Causeway Technologies’ Chief Operating Officer, Paul Devlin, will explore this in ‘Making construction data flow – a vision for the digital transformation of UK construction.’ 

Attendees will learn how technology can address the fragmented approach to managing various aspects of construction projects, including data, people, finances, supply chains, and project management.   

Fireside chat

Another Main Stage session on offer is the ‘Get Construction Talking: Addressing mental health in construction starts with you’ fireside chat. Hosted by Founder of The B1M, Fred Mills; Senior Director of Industry Transformation at Procore, Sasha Reed; and Head of Digital Construction at John Paul Construction, Ray Blewitt.  

Get Construction Talking is a global campaign led by The B1M and Procore Technologies. The approach is to raise awareness of constructions mental health challenge and help millions of people take the first step and play a small role in helping turn the tide. This session will help to better understand how you can get involved and make a difference in addressing this silent killer within construction. 

A further Main Stage highlight is a panel session delivered by Arcadis. Mar Zumaquero Gomez, Global Innovation Management Director; Simon Oster, Global Data Science and AI Director; Juan Martin, Global Design Innovation Manager; Zeena Farook, Product Bundle Director DAM and Analytics; and Amy Frye, Global Human-Centric Research Director will unravel ‘The combined power of digital and human innovation’
