Novus Property Solutions has a delivered on a programme of planned maintenance works, with the aim of upgrading the Salvation Army Housing Association’s housing stock before the winter.

The company was contracted to carry out roofing and roofline upgrades, kitchen and bathroom renewals, internal and external redecoration and window and door replacements for various Midlands-based properties.

Homes and schemes throughout Watford and central London have also benefited. Overall, more than 80 dwellings and hostels have been improved for the UK’s population of homeless and single people.

Maintenance knowledge and experience

Using its knowledge and experience of the Salvation Army Housing Association, Novus was able to deliver on the project’s requirements by keeping residents’ needs in mind.

The company also used its experience to overcome challenges faced throughout the contract duration: it successfully dealt with access arrangements with tenants and local planning consents from local authorities, and overcame obstacles such as material deliveries in London’s ‘red route’ areas.

Since the completion of the maintenance works, the Salvation Army Housing Association has paid tribute to Novus’ transparent communication policy and its open-book approach to costs.
