Marmox, the specialist manufacturer of insulation and waterproofing solutions, is reporting another jump in orders following the company’s participation at this year’s InstallerSHOW.
This show was held at Birmingham’s NEC, from 25 – 27 June, and was attended by more than 20,000 installers, specifiers, and decision-makers from the heating, water, air-handling and energy sectors.
The InstallerSHOW has once again proved the ideal place for unveiling new products, networking and learning from the various seminars, as well as keeping updated on industry trends.
Accordingly, Marmox showcased its now well-known Multiboard on Stand 4D27 during the must-attend event where some 600 exhibitors were vying for attention.
Marmox Multiboard’s versatility always draws a crowd – being a versatile, strong, and waterproof backing board, ideal for damp environments such as bathrooms, shower-rooms, changing rooms, and even on one occasion, a dog grooming parlour.
The company also received great interest in other products on the stand, especially its other innovative wetroom solutions – these being Marmox Showerlay, which is used to create stylish flooring with pre-sloped panels and featuring integral drainage, plus a waterproof fleece backing. The team were able to demonstrate its exceptional stability when paired with Multiboard.
Marmox Decotray, meanwhile, comprises a slip-resistant, premium wetroom floor solution in Slate Grey or Polar White – then Marmox Minilay enables the transformation of any concrete substrate into sloping tiled floors. Both drain types are also offered with a standard 360-degree Swivel Waste, with the flexible outlet (allowing for horizontal or vertical connection), or there is the Slimline Waste which is just 6cm deep and fits into the tightest of spaces, yet without compromising flow rate.
Finally, visitors to the stand were offered a sneak preview of a new tileable sink, the Multiboard Sink, which is still in development but will be available to buy later in the year. The prototype on display measures 1200 x 600mm, though Marmox is considering other sizes.
Altogether, the Marmox sales team enjoyed a hectic but very worthwhile show, feedback from the delegates was very positive, especially around the company’s sleek new sink.
