Materials 2017 is a new conference and exhibition, focused entirely on the cutting-edge of material solutions for architecture, construction and design and the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) is delighted to be supporting the exhibition.
The GGF will be exhibiting at the show, which is to be held o the 25th and 26th of April 2017 at the ILEC Centre London, as well as moderating a specialist technical seminar.
GGF’s director of Marketing and Communications, James Lee said the show aims to focus on solutions that construction professionals need when considering using glass and glazing materials, therefore making it ideal for GGF to be involved in.
Director of Technical Affairs at GGF, Steve Rice, added that glass is one of the most used materials in the construction industry and GGF will offer technical expertise and information throughout the show to visitors, exhibitors and to the construction media.
Materials 2017 will be a unique opportunity for architects, specifiers and developers as it will gather leading construction professionals into one central venue. Therefore, allowing face-to-face meetings and engagement in social conversation and the expansion of business relationships with top material manufacturers.
The exhibition will features a wide range of products such as ceramics, cement, stone, brick, timber, glass, concrete, metal and smart materials. However, it will look not only at their use in creating striking designs but also their potential functionalities beyond their common purposes within building structures, envelope, facades and finishes.
Seminar speakers will include Aecom, Arup, Tata Steel and Saint-Gobain. Due to the intimacy of the environment, the three conference areas at Materials 2017 will provide huge potential for knowledge-sharing.
