The Metal Cladding & Roofing Manufacturers Association (MCRMA) has added a new CPD module to its online CPD programme, available to those seeking to develop their knowledge and skills within the metal building envelope sector.

The CPD module, Fasteners for metal roof and wall cladding: design, detailing and installation guideprovides the user with a comprehensive best practice guide on the selection, use and performance of fasteners designed for use with metal roofing and cladding systems.

The CPD covers a wide range of topics, including fastener types, performance criteria, durability, weathertightness, aesthetics, typical cladding systems, detailing and installation and tooling.

There are now 11 approved CPDs available on the MCRMA website; the course material is studied offline with an online assessment component to verify knowledge.

The modules represent an anticipated 60 – 120 minutes of professional development, and following successful completion of the CPD, a certificate is available for immediate download. All modules have been accredited by the CPD Certification Service.
