The MCRMA announces a collaboration between two companies that were brought back together through the Association.
Kalzip has established itself in the industry, renowned for its highly flexible roofing system with unlimited design freedom, flexible production methods including on-site roll forming, and complete environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions for building envelopes.
UL Solutions, on the other hand, brings safety science to life, being UKAS accredited to undertake testing in accordance with the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) Standard for Systemised Building Envelopes.
It comes as no surprise that these MCRMA members were able to re-connect after 15 years. With a shared commitment to achieving the highest technical standards, they could collaborate on a live system testing project. This kind of collaboration is something the MCRMA expects to see more of as we move forward as an industry.
Their project illustrates a brilliant synergy between manufacturing prowess and industry excellence, demonstrating the power of networking and collaboration fostered by the MCRMA.
On visiting Steven Bramhill at UL Solutions, Adrian Whitefoot from Kalzip commented: “The whole experience was extremely positive from start to finish.
“UL Solutions were completely transparent and ensured me and my client were very happy with the test report produced.”
Connecting like-minded organisations and offering solutions from all kinds of specialist service providers is only one of the benefits you will receive when becoming a member of our leading association.
The MCRMA is inviting companies to set new benchmarks for innovation and excellence together.
