Merriott has supplied its heating and cooling systems to High Wycombe Leisure Centre

Merriott enhances heating and cooling system delivery services

  • 9 Mar 2016

In attempt to improve delivery of its bespoke radiators and radiant panels, Merriott has issued a number of changes to its transportation and logistics offering.

According to Merriott, heating and cooling systems play a fundamental part in a project’s supply chain. A damaged, late or incomplete order can put a whole project on hold.

With limited on-site storage amenities and a short amount of time for products to arrive ahead of installation, reliable and efficient delivery is essential.

Efficient delivery with Merriott

Considering this, Merriott has implemented several changes to its transport and logistics offering. The company hopes to achieve the UK’s fastest delivery times for its tailor-made radiant panels and radiator systems.

The company has introduced a ‘one-box’ packaging solution, which allows all of the components for each of its heating systems to be boxed together, ensuring that no parts are lost in transit.

On every order, Merriott is using additional packaging to reduce the risk of product damage during transit and on site. Dedicated hauliers are also being used to eliminate unnecessary handling in between Merriott’s manufacturing facility and the destination site.
