MRA do the double at Construction Marketing Awards

  • 9 Dec 2016

MRA Marketing was announced the winner of both the ‘Strategic Planning & Management’ and ‘Best Product Launch’ categories at the Construction Marketing Awards (CMAs) for its work with Solider and Alumasc Management Solutions respectively.

Organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the CMAs took place on 1st December at the Radisson Blu in London.

MRA Marketing’s first win came in the Strategic Planning & Management category for Solidor’s fully integrated ‘most secure composite door’ campaign.

MRA collected the award for the second consecutive year, with judges praising the company’s “brilliant planning and well researched” approach to the campaign.

Judges also recognised MRA’s work on the Ficoten product launch by Alumasc Water Management Solutions.

MRA implemented a strategic and integrated marketing campaign to build awareness of Filcoten and redefine the market for advanced concrete-based products.

The results were a success: in the first 12 months of launch (July 2015-August 2016), sales were ahead by 26% on forecasts, and project quotes were up 82% in the last 6 months compared with the first 6 months.

The product was specified on a number of significant projects including Carlisle Lake District Airport and the Public Realm project in Hull.
