As part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, UNION will be offering its support to National Home Security Month 2015.
National Home Security Month is a nationwide initiative that will run throughout October. With the need for correctly specified security in the residential sector becoming ever more prevalent, the campaign has been developed to raise awareness around the importance of home security.
UNION will be working alongside ASSA ABLOY’s sister brand, Yale, to educate homeowners, installers and stockists on all aspects of home security.
Throughout National Home Security Month, UNION’s product managers will be offering advice and guidance on testing and quality control.
The company’s products have been designed specifically for the residential sector; its StrongBOLT range exceeds the requirements of BS3621:2007, ensuring its suitability for fulfilling domestic security needs.
UNION also intends to elaborate on issues, such as how the right locks can save money on home insurance policies, throughout the month.
Other supporters of National Home Security Month include ASSA ABLOY brands: ABLOY, Mul-T-Lock, Yale Door and Windows Solutions, as well as Screwfix, B & Q and Maplin.
