Natural timber effect vinyl flooring installed at Tredz cycle shop

  • 20 May 2016

A bold Flamed Chestnut vinyl flooring design has been installed at Tredz cycle shop in Swansea to give a brand new look to its shop floor area. The chosen design includes prominent knots and markings to give the effect of natural timber.

The design was selected from Polyflor’s 2mm gauge Affinity255 PUR collection by local flooring contractors Artisan Flooring. Approximately 400m2 of the luxury vinyl tiles were installed at the cycle shop.

Jamie Davies, South Wales Area Manager at Tredz commented: “We’re delighted with the finished look of the shop and have had plenty of positive comments from our customers. The natural wood effect really brings the great outdoors into our shop interior.”

The Affinity255 range has been developed to withstand with demands of high traffic retail environments. The vinyl tiles feature a cross linked and UV cured polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) to protect the floor and allow for an easy-to-clean maintenance regime.

The flooring’s 2mm gauge enables it to be easily installed alongside other 2mm vinyl flooring products, such as Polyflor’s homogenous, heterogeneous and safety flooring ranges.

The environmentally friendly flooring achieves a BRE A+ rating in major use areas and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, assuring that VOC emissions are below any globally determined levels.

The Affinity255 collection is also 100% recyclable through the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme and contains an average of 40% recycled content.
