Aluminium grilles and diffusers with chrome powder coating

New chrome powder coating option for grilles and diffusers

  • 7 Jan 2016

Gilberts of Blackpool has extended its offering of aluminium grilles and diffusers to include the option of a chrome powder coating.

As a commercial space ventilation manufacturer, Gilberts is constantly developing and improving its technology. Its most recent chroming process allows it to give lustre and shine to its grilles and diffusers, whilst ensuring that the units can still be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Chrome powder coating with Gilberts

There is little risk of tarnishing, corrosion marks or pits, as there is with conventional chroming. When powder coated, Gilberts’ units do not lose their shine, eliminating the need for polishing away dirt and grease.

The company offers powder coating in a complete range of RAL solid colours. By utilising foiling, it can also provide a true, quality metal finish.

Gilberts’ aluminium grilles and diffusers are created solely in-house, from the initial manufacture through to chrome powder coating.
