Wienerberger

New Commercial Director Kevin for Wienerberger

  • 16 May 2018

Kevin Tolson has been appointed as Wienerberger‘s Commercial Director, following in the footsteps of Keith Barker, the previous Commercial Director and current MD.

Kevin, who joined the UK’s leading provider of building material solutions in February this year, brings a wealth of experience and knowhow to the role, covering everything from marketing and sales to customer service and strategy development.

He has worked for some of the UK’s leading manufacturers of consumer durables and building products, both in the UK and abroad.

With a degree in Economics and an MBA specialising in Strategic Management, he holds an impressive track record of identifying new opportunities, aligning organisations and co-operating with customers to deliver growth.

He said he was ‘delighted’ to be taking on the role and is excited to help develop Wienerberger’s future in the UK.

He added that he has big shoes to fill, but is looking forward to the challenge and is keen to expand on the previous success in the role.

The past decade has seen Wienerberger UK deliver strong organic growth, following a period of rapid acquisitions in years previous.

This is not only a significant contributor to Wienerberger group revenue but is also allowing the industry leader to set trends and standards in areas ranging from health and safety to the adoption of BIM (Building Information Modelling).

Wienerberger UK is also leading the Digital Construction movement, with a focus on supply chain management and marketing.
