New CPD seminar on how to use sustainable drainage systems in podium roofs

  • 7 Apr 2015

IKO Polymeric has launched a new RIBA approved CPD seminar on using Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in podium roofs.

‘Rooftop Podium SuDS – rethinking H2O’ explains how Sustainable Drainage Systems can be successfully incorporated in modern flat roofing systems.

The CPD is the result of an partnership between IKO Polymeric, Polypipe and the environmental design consultant EPG. The seminar shows delegates how using SuDS can achieve a wide range of BREEAM credits for thermal insulation, weight reduction to the roof and use of recycled material.

Anthony Carlyle, Managing Director of IKO Polymeric, commented: “This seminar helps architects and specifiers understand the key design and installation challenges of multi-use roofs and integrated SuDS solutions, particularly those used in high density urban environments.”
