With Extreme Runtime battery technology and a brushless motor, the screwgun has been designed to provide drywall professionals with an effective cordless power tool.
Available with either two 2.0Ah or two 5.0Ah XR high capacity lithium ion battery packs, the screwgun offers a speed of 4,400 RPM.
With one 2.0Ah battery, the user can drive up to 2,250 screws per charge; the 5.0Ah battery can drive up to 6,000.
As a total package, with a 2.0Ah battery pack, the DCF620 18V XR Brushless Lithium Ion Drywall Screwgun weighs 1.88kg.
Designed to provide simple operation and easy maintenance, the screwgun has a quick release rotating collation screw magazine mechanism.
The Collated Screw Auto-feed Magazine is capable of driving collated screws of up to 55mm long.
It allows for faster working, whilst minimising the amount of dropped or wasted screws.
With a trigger lock-on switch, adjustable depth nosecone and an LED light with a 20 second delay, the DCF620 has a number of other features that add to its appeal.
With a 105 Joule punch, DeWALT’s Trak-it gas nailer has been developed for drywall steel track installation into block, steel or concrete.
DeWALT also offers anchors for gypsum board, including its single-piece Zip-It and Zip Toggle Plasterboard Anchors.
These products have the capability to self-drill into the material, causing minimal damage to the substrate.
Hollow wall anchors, PX universal nylon plugs, Wall-Dog screw anchors, ST Strap Toggles and Legs wall anchors are also suitable for plasterboard.
The DCF620 cordless screwgun completes DeWALT’s range of construction fixings for drywall contractors.
A range of collated screws in coarse or fine thread have been launched in conjunction with the new screwgun; in lengths from 25mm – 50mm, they can be used with the new tool.
