New Freefoam video highlights new build supply and support

  • 4 Mar 2020

Freefoam Building Products recently launched a new video highlighting the company’s close relationship with customers and the new build sector.

Freefoam customer General Building Plastics (GBP) is a leading independent supplier of PVC building products in the Midlands.

Based in Rugeley with six other trade counters throughout the Midlands, Shropshire and Oxfordshire GBP have been the sole supplier of the Freefoam range of PVC fascia, soffit and gutter since 1994.

Freefoam’s new video focusses on the supply to housebuilder Barwood Homes, and their site in rural Buckinghamshire.

Andrew Weldon, Site manager explains: “We’ve been using Freefoam products on our sites, supplied by General Building Plastics for the last few years. The carpenters like the range, and find it easy to fit. We have regular contact with Courtney from GBP, he’s always around to help us with any delivery issues, and product specification. I would recommend Freefoam and GBP to other housebuilders. I have recently put GBP as one of our top suppliers, and I know they have been recommended to other sites that Barwood Homes are building.”

GBP find that Freefoam’s support to the new build market to be particularly invaluable. The relationship has grown and developed over the years and to the mutual benefit of both.

Courtney Robertson, GBP Area Sales Manager, comments: “It would be easy to say we chose Freefoam as a supplier because of the quality of their products and the consistency of supply, and that’s why we continue to buy from Freefoam . . . but the reason why we started the relationship in the first place and the reason why the relationship continues today is the way they value our customers as much as we do.”

GBP find that Freefoam’s wide range of styles, sizes and colours of fascia and soffit are particularly suitable for the new-build market. The variety enables housebuilders to source high quality, long-lasting, low maintenance materials suitable for any style of home, but still allows them to remain competitive in the market place.

Freefoam is committed to supporting customers throughout the supply process from providing tender documents, back-office support and onsite help and back up where needed.

Courtney adds: “We find Freefoam’s support invaluable. They also help us build new business by recommending us as new build partners and providing me with sales leads that often lead to quality business. Freefoam work with us as a business, and want us to grow, and we couldn’t have done it without them.”
