Leading aluminium fenestration systems manufacturer Senior Architectural Systems is being showered with positive reviews for its hotel sector work.

This comes after Senior was specified to deliver an attractive glazing package for the new Doubletree by Hilton in Hull.

The new hotel, located in a prime position in the city centre, is the latest contract by Senior for global giant Hilton.

Designed by Aros Architects, the striking building envelope takes inspiration from Hull’s industrial heritage – it has been enhanced by Senior’s high quality aluminium windows and curtain walling.

Installed by Barton Windows Ltd for main contractor Manorcrest Construction, Senior’s thermally-efficient SPW600e aluminium windows complement the rainscreen façade of the building, creating a pleasant interior environment for guests, providing them with phenomenal views across the city.

Senior’s slim line SF52 aluminium curtain walling has also been installed to the ground floor.

Senior’s supreme quality range of aluminium fenestration solutions can provide a visually pleasing solution to meeting strict thermal and acoustic requirements.

The range has become a popular choice with specifiers working in the hotel and leisure sector – the new Doubletree by Hilton in Hull follows Senior’s earlier appointment to provide its SPW600 aluminium casement windows, robust SPW501 aluminium commercial doors and patented thermally-enhanced PURe® SLIDE aluminium sliding doors for the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.
