Kitchen facilities fitted by Novus Property Solutions

New kitchen facilities for local regeneration project

  • 4 Dec 2015

Novus Property Solutions has updated the kitchen facilities at a local heritage centre, located on a former steelworks site in Wrexham.

Designed to preserve the history of an area characterised by coal mining and steelmaking, the Brymbo Enterprise Centre hosts regular events for the local community.

An extensive regeneration programme, including the development of a large estate of new homes, is currently ongoing at the centre, as it was in a poor state of repair.

Volunteers were forced to rely on the centre’s limited facilities to serve refreshments at events. To tackle this, Novus Property Solutions donated its time and materials to the project, as part of its commitment to the Wrexham community in which it operates.

New kitchen facilities

Novus’ team of five worked together to create a dedicated kitchen area. New kitchen cabinets and worktops were fitted to transform the space in under a day.

The centre is now hosting several annual open days; the new kitchen facilities will provide an improved environment for volunteers to serve refreshments to its visitors.
